Authentic middle eastern cuisine cooked with flavor and spices. Top rated kosher restaurant in Brooklyn.
Love this spot. A staple of the local neighborhood. The entrees were perfect and nicely seasoned. Hummus was delicious. Shish kabob, skirt steak, baby chicken were all very juicy. Shnitzel super crunchy. Intimate atmosphere and excellent service.
Iconic steak house and home food restaurant in Brooklyn New York. Amazing food, family owned and operated for over 40 years. A must for everyone that is looking for the most delicious meals, from the salads to the steaks. The BEST!
The schnitzel is unreal. Pita bread heavenly, could sleep on it like a pillow. Try the okra too. We need a David’s in Manhattan
It's always great service and amazing food, I've been there so many times and never had a problem.
46 years of customers can’t be wrong! Family-based restaurant in Brooklyn which surprises you with everything cooked on site except for pitas. And, boy, do they cook. I went for goulash, fully expecting a soup bowl with several pieces of beef in a paprika sauce. I was wrong, what I got was a Noah’s Ark of abundance. There were dozen pieces of mouth-melting tender beef and a pile of rice. I was served two pieces of bread, a plate of pickled onion and another (!) plate of pickled cabbage. It was filling to say the least. Pita was warm and soft. Pickles had certain bite to them. I couldn’t finish it all in one sitting! I had to get a doggie bag! So I was expecting to pay separately for goulash and multiple side dishes. And you know what? I paid only got goulash - all these side dishes are included in the price. Hall has 12 tables, mostly for 4 persons but there is one which can accommodate up to 10 people. Walls have nice photos of Mediterranean food. Bathroom is clean, they have washing cups if you use them before eating bread. All food is kosher. All in all, great place. Food was to tasty I bit my tongue twice. And I don’t complain!
I enjoyed a delicious takeout lunch of vegetable soup, rice & beans, and a combo beef/chicken shish sandwich. Staff was friendly, and accommodating of modifications.
